Description
In a quiet secluded corner of the forgotten library, lost to the memory of man there is a handful of life size figures. Among acknowledge professionals from that time before time in that space with no place, it was said that the figures where from a sovereign's board game.
But among some fools it is rumored that the athenaeum has the pieces mislabeled. These dreamers say that if one finds one's self in the presence of the pieces, one should close one's eyes. Calm one's heart, and empty one's mind. Control one's breath so it reflects the slight movement of the surrounding air. Then and only then slowly open one's eyes. These jesters believe that one can see something more. Among them selves they tell the tale of a marauders and buccaneers. Who in the light of a half moon stole the figures from an isle. An isle protected by a snake hair matron.
But perhaps all of this is just wishful thinking, or reverie , or fragments of perplexed memories.
BIG thanks all for stopping and looking.

I wish I could visit the library. I can be quiet as a cat's paw and move like a ghost, while just barely breathing. I wonder if the statues would let me dance among them? Perhaps they would share stories about the power of the snake haired woman. But would I be able to carry the memory of my visit back home with me? A wonderful combination of simple forms, interesting textures and complex thoughts. TG
