The size of the sword looks pretty good to me. Claymore's are about that size in height if not width. This rocks, Juji, you're the best.

Yes. People can weild swords that size. I've seen it. They can't weild it very well, but boy, you hit somebody with it... Awesome pic in the long run!

What does it matter if someone can really weild it? That's what games are for. :P To see lots of skinny people use weapons impossibly. Thanks for your comments all. Nice to hear from you. :)

Dude... that rocks...great colors...but..err... I noticed that the color on on the left leg of her panty kind a thing is different from her other leg... But man...the shading is just awesome.. esp the face...

Over on swordforum.com there is a discussion about titanium swords (titanium is stronger per pound than steel, but it takes a lot more space per pound) and the fact that they are "as large as parasails" when done correctly. I've always assumed that the FF swords were titanium, they are about the right size for a real titanium sword (what it would take to have the right strength, etc. vis a vis a steel sword) and would weigh in the three to five pound range. For a three pound sword, that is about right, and a wonderful render as well!

I've been busy playing this one (and slacking on drawing, d'oh). I must say, Paine looks great here! I actually prefer your drawing to how she looks in the game (not that I don't like how she looks in the game, mind you). Very nice! Love that pose!
