Societies with metallurgic technology typically have advanced to the stage where they wear more clothes than that. If you're in hand-to-hand combat, it's wise to dress yourself accordingly. And yes, turn on the anti-aliasing.

Migs has missed a point re metallurgy and dress. Climate often dictates dress, however, the Celts saw it as the ultimate sign of bravery to rush into combat totally naked (not even bearing a shield)- much to the Romans great amusement and the Celts great sorrow (defeated, many dead, wounded). Nice concept, need be a bit larger image size.
