Description
The Barracuda MK III was the first combifighter
using the exchangable hammerhead cockpit.
The U.P. even fitted it with a prototype nuclear drive.
Only fiew where build though.
The nuclear drive was making it very fast but hard to control. It also had a strong tendency to overheat and fail.
Further more the maintainance costs where incredibly high since there had to be a decontamination process after every mission.
The next model, the MK IV, was therefore fitted
with two powerfull conventional drives.

Finally, a clear shot of the model without all the fanch (but wonderful) motion blurring. We finally get to see what one of these beauties really looks like. :o)
