Description

Hi, one of my first attempts at Cinema 4d - I was wondering how I could make the shadow more realistic (without the cube shadows) and how to add caustics

Nice modeling and textures. You must "turn on" the caustics in the render settings, and also for your main light. In the light's caustic settings, try really high values (energy 8000% and photons 400,000), and then work back down from there. If you use the SLA Banji 3D material for your ice cubes, you can control the shadowing with the available parameters.
