Description

These grow in a little oceanside park not far from home. It's all sand, and in the winter fully exposed to Southeast gales and salt spray, but all it takes is one tiny bit of soil, and a little clump takes root and against all odds, thrives. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

Very nice shot. Yes, it is always so surprising how trees, plants, and flowers survive and grow in places we would not imagine they could survive in.
