By shadowed moon and starlit silver tears
Listen to the night with gentle ears
Hear it echo down the empty years
Her eternal vow of silence
This is my image inspired by the September theme of silence. I tried to capture a very special moment when I wandered the ruins of a medieval Irish Convent at twilight, and was struck by a mental picture of the white clad nuns moving silently across the path by the river.
The original pic was by mad-damestock on Deviant Art @ http://www.deviantart.com/view/2975098/ , but it has been changed considerably for a more haunted and evocative feel. The background is one of my own photos.
