Description
Nefertiti and Ahkenaten had tried to bring a new religion to Egypt, that of the one god, the Aten or sun god. The old powers, however, were not happy and after the dath of Ahkenaten the old religions returned to the country and all record of the heretic's was all but destroyed. There is a theory going around at the moment that Nefertiti survived her husband and ruled a Pharoh in her own right; turning her back on the sun god and bringing back the old reigions in order to unite her people.
