Hi there, hmm lets see.... my names Tristan im 21, ...err ok thats it.BIOive been using 3d (mainly maya) since around february 2003, after a doing a degree in genetics at aberystwyth university (wales) i was so fed up with science i wanted to try something completly different, im entirely self taught and still learning, :)

looks great...also looks like you've got several lighting effect turned on, render time would dramatically reduce if you took those out.

cheers all, the gold is just a default anisotropic shader tweaked a little, no light effects, just light dome for fake GI and one directional light with specular on.

Very good and very cute, is this your own design? This would be a great kids alarm clock. Very nice model, doesn't look low poly. Can't wait to see the full scene.

its my own design sort of, but i think i got the idea from a clock i had when i was a kid so theres already a clock like this out there somewhere. by low poly i meant under 50,000 so its hardly game level lowpoly but way less than my normal 500000+ per model. final scene is a kids room complete with loads of toys etc, will post it when done :)
