Description

You know, snow is a hard thing to scan! I think I need lessons in how to perfect it in PSP! lol, I still liked the shot, even tho the scan isn't as nice as the original. Hope you do too.

Blame the ol' scanner ploy, eh! :)) Well, good news first. I spotted the infamous ballerina behind the third tree on the left ...at least I think it's her?! :) BTW: I've always thought taking the actual photograph of a snowy scene was the hard bit ...over exposure by a stop or more, be the requisite action to take ...so at least you've cracked the hard bit ...I'd treat myself to another scanner if it wasn't doing your print justice V.! Have to agree with Mark...taking the shot in the first place is the difficult part. Ya got that down pat! Brings shivers and i love the "fingers" of the tree limbs reaching out. Excellent image. Another keeper...you're gonna have to buy me a new hard drive ya know! ;>)

Skip the scan and have the film put on disk. Worth it for such a good picture!

I think the picture is beautiful, bad scan or not. And I would not recomend buying your film on disk, I did that a few weeks ago... have a look at my 2 photos in my gallery and you'll see why I don't recomend this. They came out VERY grainy. Anyway, Love the picture :) Excellent shot!

This is a lovely shot, and good exposure, that is so dificult in the snow. And belive me I know "damn" If you dont mind me saying so: I looks like the photo was not flat on the scanner. Not easy to get good results with a scan anyway. Forget the palm trees they dont look right in the snow anyway lol.

there's a lovely atmosphere here that still so clear even if the shot isn't perfect. You don't need PS.. just some practice. Your skills are good with a camera, believe.

Looks nice, maybe resizing will remove a bit of the quality loss. Johannes
