Description

Bryce 5, Rhino, Photoshop. I've been wanting to do some far East things. Here is a Japanese room. I built the lamp in Rhino. I also constructed the mat and the Saki cup and Carafe and cloth. Textures on the lamp, cup, carafe and mat are mine. The fan is a lattice. Thank you for viewing and for any comments. They are appreciated.

I love this scene, the layout is simple but the lighting is effective, although I'm not sure where the light is really coming from? Perhaps an oil lamp? Also, I'm not sure why you would need Rhino for the wood-lamp-structure, was it so you could make the wood bendy-looking? Even so, it looks great!

Love the lighting the most. The blinds in the back give an interesting twist to the Japanese theme--it's very modern, could be in anyone's room. I like how it plays with my imagination. Excellent work!

Very impressive, but there's something wrong with lamp. I see the light coming out of it, but I can't see the source of it.

Hi QuasiMode, You're right. I had hoped that the screens on each side would be a little more opaque and show the glow inside, but I couldn't for the life of me get it to do that. I hoped no one would notice. :-) I will add a light source soon and show it. Thanks all for the comments!

You have done quite a few impressive interiors, but this is definitely my favourite. Textures and the play with light are breath-taking, congrats.
