Description

Not really a Terminator hand. But when you see a robot arm, what are you gonna think? Model created in Bryce, I used parts from my spider and created a few more parts. Actually created my own textures (for a change). The slabs are from my driveway and the reflection map shows next doors house. I'm still trying to get to grips with reflections. But getting there I hope. Slight DOF for a bit of depth. There are two other versions of this here and here.

Very nice... the ground mat you made looks killer (any chance you will post in freestuff?). The modeling is damn nice too. My only thought is what it would look like with slight soft shadows? All in all, a great render.

The ground really is just a photo of the ground outside my front door, but you want it, you got it. Soft shadows. I'm learning all this as I go along. I'll have to have a go with shadow options next time.

WOW Drawbridge, this is some very outstanding modelling. Very impressive work indeed. The level of detail is amazing. The slight DOF, soft shawdow work is top notch and very well executed. Top render. ---- Scott.

It's a thing of beauty. I remeber downloading this for Bryce a loooong time ago. I swore that when I got good enough to do a render that would do it justice I would upload it immediately. I've learned a few things since and hopefully very soon it'll be in the Bryce gallery in all it's glory. You've really been an inspiration to me! Sorry if I never expressed that. Persevere! You're a master! :)
