Description

This is a little house im creating for a project. That is my first experiment with paint effect. I painted all the tree, the grass and the fog too. This scene is fully animate...The fog, the tree and the grass move with the wind. Also, there is no grass texture on the ground ... but there will be one in my next update... --Give comments plz-- Credits: MAYA FUNDAMENTALS 4.5 -thx- alias

wow, that mist looks great. totaly creepy feel to this. not too sure about that shadow on the building as the only big lightsource at night is usually the moon which is behind the house here, also wheres the tree casting it? hehe creepy ghost trees..

Thank you verry much Flak...For the cast shadow on the house your right ;) Ill work on this. And its a little difficult because the scene is verry huge. You can see only like 1/12 of the scene on this render. -Thx for your comment flak-

It's good, but you have to give credit to Maya (4?) Fundamentals on this one.

I think that you should add WAY more grass for this one??? Also, the moon looks like a big "studio-light", not too real.

Thank you Novakog and nemirc -- Yeah for the grass i know like i said in my description...it s a pre alpha version and the texture will come in my next rendered image...And for the moon i know that she s too strong and ill take care of this -Thx-

Creepy. With the corrected shadows and an toned down moon you will have a very spooky scene here. Good luck with your animation.

Woo ... this is right out of 'Maya fundamentals 4' tutorial, huh? A little bit more creativity of your own would be nice.

I know but i don t know if someone here do this tutorial...he explain only how to model the house(not all part and detail) a litttle bit how to make the tree and the fog....but you have to do half the work by yourself ... trust me i know what im talking about...and like i say up (it s like a pre-alpha version so ill change a lot of thing lol

the way you use the light is great. It gives really space to imagination.

i think it needs some big old trees near the house and forground, to add more depth to what you've done...I love the atmosphere, the lighting and fog are just right

This is a good expression of being able to follow a tutorial, and is a good step in your progression as a 3D artist....but the idea for this pic is not your own. This scene is only appropriate to post here if you give maya fundamentals credit for the idea. You make it sound like this is your Idea. I could post almost the exact scene in 2 minutes because it is on a cd that I have from the back of the Maya fundamentals book. Please give credit where it is due.

i have said in the comment (up) like 2 time that is was the maya fundamentals tutorials lol .. i of course im giving the credit to maya fundamentals...and if u look correctly .. you will see that my house is not the same as the tutorial .. because i make the misssed part by my own lol
