Description
After picking at Poser for awhile, here is my first real attempt at something. It is a work in progress, and any feedback would be useful.

Used Michael 2.0 with the Adventurers pack.
Created the Lightsaber myself in Lightwave.
Used Photoshop for the blades, shadow and background.

Camoflage
It looks cool! Nice work all around. The shadows really help the character meld with the background and not look like he's "floating". One constructive criticism would be to line up the blades of the light saber a little better. The bottom one looks a little off. Solid render though!!

Nice that you've got the character looking off-screen, as if for an opponent. To make the image more dramatic, you might like to try picking up the red glow of the lightsaber on the clothes, hand and face- either set up a few spotlights in Poser to give a soft red as if from the blades, or put it in during postwork, or use a bit of both. I hesitate to advertise my own work (I'm sure it's bad etiquette), but I did much the same myself for a lightsaber in an image it does show what I mean- http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=386185&Start=1&Artist=HaiGan&ByArtist=Yes. The lighting on the face was done within Poser, and the glow on the hands was postworked in Paintshop.

this is nice but I would say that it's need work on the hands but over then that it's very cool. I like to see people showing what there enjoy about starwars and this is one of the nice think. But it's going to need some work. also if you need any help with poser then contact me at craig_225@msn.com
