The Blue Thunder helicopter was based on the Aerospatiale Gazelle air frame, a powerful helicopter in its own right.

Thanx Matuka! well this time its as per the blue prints!You know what they do for movies?They do certain changes to make thing more attractive.And by lowering the height it really looks cool to me as well!

Ya, having worked in the movie/tv/theatre industry for years i know how they tend to beautify things for the camera. It does look pretty tough. How about putting it in a scene where they are looking at the girl in the window :)

The Thunder helicopter would look better if it were actually painted a deep navy blue, instead of the fugly olive green color that you have.
