9/20/03: Eureka, I discovered fractals! - in particular a cool program called apophysis, that's free and it creates images which are disturbingly similar to doodles I did in back in college...who knew I've been operating under a flame fractal algorithm all this time??! Whatever you do, don't go telling my family. Now, if I can only figure out how to turn the damn thing off...

I love the reflection of the mountains in the water. The image is too large for me to see all at once, though. I run 1024 (?) pixels on my machine.

Thank you for your comments! It's a little big for my screen too - but for me it's the sensation of looking out an airplane window at high altitude - I can look left, down, up, right - It's a different way of looking versus standing back in a gallery and looking at the whole painting - not necessarily better, however.
