Description

after much fiddling here is my entry for the September terragen challenge (terrain #1) I hope you enjoy! This terrain was a lot of fun to work with. I appreciate your comments. Update 9/23: After taking another look at this, I decided the raw image looked best. I've posted the original image here rendered from Terragen. No resizing or sharpening done. Thanks for looking.

I love the reflection of the mountains in the water. The image is too large for me to see all at once, though. I run 1024 (?) pixels on my machine.

Thank you for your comments! It's a little big for my screen too - but for me it's the sensation of looking out an airplane window at high altitude - I can look left, down, up, right - It's a different way of looking versus standing back in a gallery and looking at the whole painting - not necessarily better, however.
