Description

Deep underground, this powers a whole city. -*- The cable braids I made by hacking up bits of a cable knot exported from KnotPlot. For this I used my old Carrara 1.0. Bryce primitives with Rochr's "New Metal" texture in Object Cubic mapping mode, and some glass. A few radial and spot lights. No sun, no haze nor fog. A wide camera angle. At the end, I also made a distance render and used that to slightly blur some nearby features that were ugly and pixellated. 6-8h rendering. [Ed:now it's a full panorama! Can't upload it here, you must have the free Apple QuickTime Player installed and go to my page to see it, Enjoy!] -*- thanks for viewing!

There's always movement in your work, giving a sense of life - either in the image, or ... just off to one side, ready to enter the scene again. Well done.

Whoa, you are WEIRD! Well, not weird, wonderful... Very complex and intricate! You made cables with Knotplot, when you have Carrara? Free Form Editor?

My head is spinning. One week it is delicate and beautiful flowers and the next it is a scene from Half-Life. Your imagination is certainly multi-faceted. Fun picture that keeps me looking. Well done.
