Perhaps a little brighter, but still an awesome render. Fantastic atmosphere - reminds me of scenes from the 80's horror movies.

It's too dark indeed. Add more light (not just one, but several softened spots to lighten up certain parts) and maybe add some fog over the water ?

I have looked over this a couple of times. As for making it brighter, I like it the way it is. It reminds me of many nights on patrol during some mountain training while in the army. The moon would illuminate the landscape in such odd ways. And there was not always fog present. As for being realistic in the sense of what one may see in the pre-dawn or dusk hours, I believe you have done a fantastic job. Thank you. I really enjoyed viewng this image.
