Description

This was my first attempt at creating water with meta-balls. I thought it was pretty effective, but just not quite there. Any Comments or Suggestions would be appreciated

not too bad, maybe add some more superior metaballs along the edges to simulate some ripples, and take the water down into the jug instead of starting it on the lip.

I like it - but I agree with Charmz - the water needs to go back down into the jug (UNLESS - in your mind the pouring is done and the jug is being tilted back to the upright position.)

I'll try and fix that when I get home. The trouble is, when I add more metaballs to the top, it starts taking the shape away at the bottom. (no matter how I arrange them) I'm not sure what to do about that. Anybody know?

cool..I've never used metaballs..I must give a try!! :) maybe you already know but in the options you can specify metaballs resolution and give a better shape to them..

It looks pretty good, but the modeling could use a few more polygons to "round" out the lip of the pitcher. Lighting is very nice and dramatic.
