Description


The first rung was at least 12 feet up and I had to shimmy up the base just to get to it. Luckily the harvester was still motionless, gathering in more air from above. I began to pull myself upward, a renewed sense of hope every rung I successfully passed. I began to count them as I progressed, the pain in my arms felt like acid searing through my blood. My hands were beginning to shake and I had to stop and rest one arm while the other supported my weight. At the 35th rung the giant began to move and of course it was the leg I was climbing on. I gripped harder with hands that were now numb and my feet slipped, I panicked and almost lost my grip, my feet dangling precariously. The harvester
