Description
The U.P. El Alamein is the latest type heavy cruiser the U.P. owns.
Extreme Firepower , excellent communications capabilities high speed and a crew of not more than 10 make it a valuable vessel.
The weak point of The El Alamein is its reactor tho. To power the huge nuclear engines as well as having enough surplus energy to fire the mighty weaponry, halve of the ship is one Matter/Antimatter reactor, tending to react critical if used in combat conditions.(Large energy draw + enemy fire)
Its got 2 magnetic rail torpedo launch tubes, Proton Puilse Canons, as well as autotargeting laser perimeter defence systems.Enough to take care of itself.
Still the U.P. believes in escorting these valuable Vessels since there are only a fiew in service and the production costs are tremendous.

I like the unusual faceted shape of this ship. The hull textures and engies flares are also nice.
