Description

Modeled in Carrara 2.1. This is a test using terrain to create the pad and body of an cellular Phone. I used Illustrator to create simple curves and then saved as an image and sotfned on terrain to produce the bevel effect. all the other elements on the scene are spline objects. I also used caustic for the effect on the glass.

Very nice. I always used the terrain trick in Bryce but didn't think it would work well in Carrara because you can't "trim" the edges. You prove me wrong :-)

Absolutely fantastic! I am blown away by this image, it is just like a photograph! You make it sound so easy! It looks so very accomplished, that I doubt I will ever be able to produce anything near this! Every part of this is wonderful, the modelling, the textures, the lighting and composition, wow... I'm adding you to my favorites list rigt now!
