BIO
Since 1993 the Dutch couple, Willem and Madeleine, have been working together in different fields of the arts and chose Hyperborea, as their professional name.
Being sculptors by trade, they have created a substantial collection of stone and bronze sculptures.
They've discovered the realm of computer graphics and this resulted in a large number of 3D renderings of alien landscapes inhabited with graceful life forms.
Most recently they have been working together on various projects in which they combine their sculptures, 3D artworks and original electronic ambient music into multi-media presentations.
Living in the south of The Netherlands, they have their own gallery and sculpture garden where visitors can experience their work.

hhahahaha..... i can see the thumb flashing out but friends for the first time I feel you need to use a diff title even though this suits fine. Honestly the image is more powerful than just hitchhiking. It reminds me of some of the Kungfu stands when u try and get all the power of the body to concentrate on one part of your body. :) Beautiful work masters.:)

I have to admit, I've never really looked at these things you've been making...but this one caught my eye. This is some awesome work! The sky, ground, the thing-a-ma-jiggy...they all just meld together. Great textures and lighting!

This is hilarious! He must have done so much hitchhiking in his previous life that his thumb grew much larger than normal! But that's probably because the answer is 42. :)

Powerful image:o) Every thing about this is powerful The main subject seems to have a lot of power and knowledge (imo) the sky is ominous or clearing. I guess it depends on how you look at it. Either dark or light. Either way, if he's hitching a ride, I bet he makes it where he's going. I like this as I have most of your art. TY

Nothing will stop this hitchhiker. He might be slowed down but I think that is by choice. Fantastic feeling of strength and humour from this image my friends.

very cool...!!!

I must be nuts - I see the egg shape as the hitchhiker and the rest of the shape as the being who has picked it up?!?!? It seems fitting, given that the egg is the beginning of [most] life, and it gets carried along.
