Description
Here is an illustrator piece I did from a photo I swiped off the web. I'm afraid I don't know who took the photo but it is fairly easy to find if you look for star wars images.
I used the shift/eyedroper/send to back technique mostly. Which can get fairly boring if you're at it for too long. But it does give some nice results.
Well nice results according to me. :OP
