..dancing, spinning, fluttering about, the faeries bade me farewell just as the rising sun kissed their wings...orchids once again!

I'm almost inclined to think you cut your orchids down to look like fairies. The picture matches your words beautifully. (Mayhaps I mean faeries, I know one is a woodland sprite, and the other is big boys in boots, but I can never keep them straight)
