Description

This is the second of the "tech alien" series. I am doing one more. These portraits will be used on an IT recruitment site. It will follow a "science fiction" theme. I wanted this character to represent an intelligent warrior. Modeled and rendered using Z-Brush. Post work (mostly for the hair) was done in Photoshop. Your comments are appreciated!

I'll say that technique wise this is excellent, but it somehow doesn't seem coherent. You've got here what is essentially a humanoid face but with these secondary teeth, sticking out from his jaw. It looks more like somebody with an extreme taste in bodymods than an alien. Not alien enough if you know what I mean

To address POUI's and Carnifex's comments... These "techaliens" are client driven. They will be used for a technologies capabilities site for the company at which I work. The faces have to remain very humanoid and "kind." Nothing too horrific or extreme. I have one more to do, when I have the time (it's an internal project). Then I can create as you mentioned, something more alien. Thanks for your comments. I'll put them to good use.

I see. Now it makes sense...the smiling faces, yet potentially menacing "enhancements"...where can we find this site to check out the final project? Wait a sec...I've seen this guy somewhere before...isn't he that actor from A.I.?
