Description
Cooler days in Sophie's Woods. That special slant of light, and out of sight, the rows of fallen corn. What we call harvesting.

Very nice. I like the desaturated background trick, but here it needs a little tweaking-- the hint of color from the leaf in the right foreground doesn't quite match up. . . Try "painting in" desaturation (you can do this with the sponge in Photoshop), as a way of "holding the picture together" Another thing that will do it is to light the scene through a gel, and have the cast shadows and rays illuminate both the "billboard" background plane and your foreground 3D objects. Lighting can "pull together" a scene with disparate elements (eg 2D and 3D)

I like this image a lot. Maybe the right leaf is too shiny but the stony monument looks really magical.Very moody

I actually love the hints of color and I think it's a brilliant contrast. Autumn is a favorite time of year for me. I love this image.
