Description


I named the Pic "LongRender" because it took round about 21 hours (!) an a AMD xp2600 with 512 DDR-333 ... rendered with maximum quality and opt. settings.

I am amazed at the render time of thie image, but it looks like it was well worth the wait!

I would believe it took that long, you problaly mixed some materials to get the effect you wanted and that expandes rendertime expotional. how many times did you have to start again, because the processor got overheated and shut down? It seems y'v about the same system as I have and I had that kind of experience when I whas trying out Vue d'Esprit. the rendertime that was predicted was 177hours & 38 minutes. It took me 38 minutes to notice that it wasnot 17 hours but 177 so I quited. the pic never left the drawingboard. I must say y'r well awarde for your patience.
