Description

Remember that summer... I wanted to create a picture that makes me relax, and remembered the sound of the waves and the taste of a good wine.

Technically, even if I really enjoyed playing with all the details in the foreground of this picture, my original intention was to improve my skills in background design. I used many alpha planes - in particular for the seagulls, the ship, and the trees on the island, and experimented a lot with the textures in order to achieve the desired result.

I like to thank j-dwarf for providing me with the nice photos of seagulls and the ship. And I hope that you enjoy viewing!
