Description

A still from an animation to show proposed changes to a part of the Royal Crescent in Bath, England. Plans were scanned and a basic outline produced in illustrator. These were then extruded in Max to create a basic model. I concentrated on one segment at a time. Textures were added (photographs manipulated in Photoshop) and then copies of the segment were made and slightly rotated to give the whole structure the crescent shape.

Nice work James!! I like all three images but this one is my favourite. I've used the importing illustrator splines method and it can save a lot of time. Great use of textures too. Makes the repetition of the segments un-noticable to the untrained eye. I'm sure the client will be very happy! Great job! Mike.
