The staircase is exellent, and the shadows of the staircase in the sky really gives it a "dark" type feel. The only problem is all the extra space where there are no other objects which really isn't necessary in the picture.

I disagree with Mr. Delusive. This is a great example of abstract composition, in my opinion. The empty space has the effect of making the staircase look small and lonely, packs an emotional punch. The Bryce work is rather basic (which is fine--whatever works)--but the resulting work is a knockout!
