it's very realistic. At least to my eyes...

No, no, not mundane at all. How can such a terrain be mundane?! I especially like the vegetation and the mist at the base of the cliff, good stuff!

The POV gives this a great looming effect of the mtn. Stata is a bit plain, but not bad at all. (1) 3D clouds...? - Try 2D variations & you'll see the difference. (2) Maybe put some soft layers on the mtn base. A LOT of potential here!

Great...absolutely wonderful. I do agree with Rich though, the mountain base does seem to be missing something, it seems a little bare. Soft layers at the base would be the finishing touch to a great terrain and add that last touch of realism it seems to need.

Very nice pice of rendering! I like the contrast between the layers best!

I disagree with Rich2. The clouds are very typical for that part of the world. I'd have the bird flying into the picture instead of out. I like that touch. The bushes in the foreground are also excellent. I agree with sralston. The terrain leading up to the cliffs needs a complex surface map, with color variations in the dirt, vegetation, and fractalization. The strata are excellent.
