Description

I actually reworked this to make look more like a crypt. I've taken out the chalice and changed lighting and added a tomb sort of thing.....it's been rendering for 23hrs and hasn't gotten anywhere yet. But let me know what you think of this one.

23 hours! Are you using radiosity and a lot of reflections? Nice atmosphere though. I'm not sure what end result you're after, but I think the use of the same tones of colour may be distracting from the Grail itself. Might be better to use other muted colours for the 'crypt' or/and maybe keep the lighting level down a little so it doesn't compete with your central theme. What is the light source? Maybe include some flaming torches? Mak

It looks lovely, but I'm sure you could get the same look in less time if you cheated with the lighting.

Thanks for the feedback. The lighting is four dim omni's and a spot (rounded) shining down the middle. I actually don't mind the wait when using radiosty and stuff. I've posted an altered version....which I think looks better. And I'm also rendering another version too.
