My first attempt at a sunrise. I think I can do better, though. Constructive criticism is always welcome, so fire away.

The sun is IMHO a bit too big. Try to find a pov or sun position which shows a bit more of the surface. Still a nice work.

Have you ever seen an oceanic sunset? It is like this. Yes, the sun is that big and the reflections have a big spread like that. If you can do better, I'd say work on the clouds. They're not bad, but Terragen works wonders with some tweaking.

I agree with Rich2, and I'd like to see the picture sharper. As things stand, it's vague and hard to see. If you work on the surface as HeikoH suggested, you'll want to show it off. :) Nice terrain, and nice first sunset.
