The point is the tree of life has been lost when the fruit of the tree of knowledge was partaken of. All this stuff does not constitute even knowledge much less life. A starving homeless person with no interest in robbery might dream such a dream. He might make his last trek to the Western Union to retrieve a money draft wired to him remembering two previous times when he walked across a river into the next state and it was not there. Yet compromise is not in his vocabulary. Climbing a tree he holds out a fish to replace the Messiah at the Sea of Galilee instead of taking his tax collector body up that judges shade to merely view the Messiah.
