Description
well, I'm still trying to achieve realism. It is the first time I use textures from pictures taken with my digital camera.

It's pretty good, but there's a problem with the bowl of apples seeming to float above the table. One way to fix this is to darken the shadow directly beneath the bowl on post. There's always a very dark shadow directly beneath where objects meet surfaces. Unfortunately, 3D programs don't seem to be able to get this effect without mapping ther shadows, which is a damnably involved process. I just do it in post with the burn tool in photoshop. It will 'set' your object.

thanks for the tip bonestructure, i'll try that.

It's really very good.i mean really good.I might add a few things in front of bowl to hide the effect of floating.Or spend a ton of time trying to do what bonestructure said.Nice work importing the digicam images!

I wanted to add a few fallen apples to the front, but the render was already done, and it took about one hour and a half... I'm one of those impatient persons :)

I like it. The apples are very cool. I'd like to see a really close upon them to check out the texture you've used. Also, that would get around the shadow problem by it not being in the frame.

drawbridgep, you can check the texture in the other apples picture I made, you can look for it in my gallery.
