I turned 46 in July 2003 and had been just poking around until I came across this place in Feb. with all sorts of graphic art that was done on computers. Since then I have found that computers have got a hold of me and after tweaking my first one I built the second one from scratch and am ready to try my hand at this new interest. So with Poser 5 in hand it's time to hit the books and make a splash into computer graphics. I look forward to making new friends and learning a lot along the way.BIOBorn in England on a US Air Force base in Swindon not very far from where Stonehenge is located and stayed in a converted castle for the first couple months before we came back to the States. I have always shown an interest in working with my hands and my imagination. Now since the advent of computers and some very informal training on my part (hardware and software) there is a whole new vista stretching out for expressing those inner visions we all have from time to time. So I look forward to the journey and all the people and wonderful artwork to meet and see along the way.
Imagination is more important then knowledge.

Wowwww You finally posted ,, Excellent job Michael,, This is extremely well done for a very first render I must say. I think with some more practice you will be right up there with the best of the best. All it takes is time. Search the freestuff, that includes tutorials, on a regular basis and decide what areas you would really like to create images in ,, Can't wait to see what your next one will be,, Excellent+++,, "Hugsssss" Linda :-)

Hey...great taste as I use the same background image for my first pic lol. You've started very much like myself in many regards and if you like my stuff so far,I guess thats a compliment;)About the image size...loading at a larger size does force a bit of scan and pan,but it can actually add a greater sense of depth as well as show confidence in your work as reducing it helps conceal flaws.Smaller images are great when you have have a higher level of talent and want people to pay more attention to surface detail...enlarge some of these works and a lot of flaws present themselves that the artist either didn't see or want others to see.Render it large when you really enjoy what you've done, then reduce if it shows flaws you didn't see before or to repost if you want people to see the whole image. You're off to a great start, but am going to give one piece of advice like I promised...Koshini looks like she's facing slightly away to the left of the dragon rather than towards him and should be smaller in ratio to his enormous size;)

You don't see many Artworks using DAZ's Skeletal Dragon...
Good to see him out and about!
Nicely Done!

A great first image. You did a fantastic job on the lighting. I happen to also like Koshini and the Skeletal Dragon. I love the background you chose. You did well for your first image with keeping it simple. Keep up the good work.
