as u can see i'm indecisive on working on the background with a smudged haze.

Yes, the smudges in the background work great. I really like the dark/light areas of the figures, and the way the whispers sort of "billow out"...like ripples on water after tossing a stone. Those whispers go a lot further than the whisperer might think.

the positioning of all the elements give a great sense and depiction of space. You are creating visual thoughts so very well :) I am so glad you're showing this to us all :) Hugs.. and.. what a LOVELY signature that is :) You know how I love that, as it's like my beloved's nickname too :) Hugs :)

Great shading and concept !

This has ALOT of potental look up the works of a artist called Jack Kerby of Mavel comics fame. The line qual is wounderful. I truly hope you work further on this and bring it into a further depth in a poster line quality. it would be good for further study. Strong emotional content and moving. WELL DONE.

I'm not sure you need anything more than the smudges you already have for the background. The lack of definition seems to add focus to the dynamic between the figures & give a sense of silence broken only by whisphers, this is really very emotive & expressive. Looking forward to more in the series ; )
