Description

Not far from where I live is a village called Zichron Ya'acov, around 120 years old, build around wineries, named after Jacob Rotchild (it means "Jacob remembered"), the father of Baron Edmund de Rothchild. In 1882 Edmund de Rothschild helped 100 Eastern European families set up vineyards in Zichron Ya'acov. That same year, vineyards were also planted in Rishon Lezion, where in 1889 Rothschild opened a winery then the second largest in the world. In 1906, the various vineyards joined together to create Carmel Mizrahi Wines company. It is very pitoresque and we go there from time to time for texture-hunting or inspiration. The image I did is not realistic, there is no court like that there and one of the buildings is a replica of a trainstation from another little village. But it paints a little the atmosphere of that village in the time of Baron de Rothchild. Plants from Avelontree, cat from SylvieB, laundry from trekkiegirl, gentleman from poser. All other models and textures by us. My 100th image in the gallery :-) Thanks for viewing!

Looks pretty good, the ground texture could use it's own bump map. The image-based bump makes it look inverted, like the stones are scooping down instead of rounding up. Lots of cool textures on this one, though!
