Very nice scene/composition! I like the bright lightning very much, but I personally have the feeling that the contrast between the shadows from the foreground and the background is too hard. The shadows are very dark in the foreground and the shadows in the background are much softer and I don't have the feeling that atmospherisch perspective causes that. I also miss shadows on the floor from the gate/pillars. But it looks great with the water and the buildings.

In my opinion the shadows of your (beautiful) scene are too soft, looks a little bit like tabletop-photography. Try ray-traced shadows. That would add a lot more realism.
