Now this one's painful for me. Years ago, I hooked a buddy in the back (it was deep...I think I was trying to cast across the lake)while we were fishing. To this day, everytime I see a fish hook, that memory flashes. Your name isn't Dan, is it?

no. I am pwason. This three dimensional oil on canvas with paper machwas painted in Japan with references to excitement rather than pain. Although it's on my wall, and often stirs emotions and memories similar to yours. Hanaji is Japanese for nose bleed. Thank you for your comments. It was nice to hear from you. Sincerely, Pwason.

Nice work, pwason! Paper machrocks. To me the nosebleed looks like the glistening tongue of snake. Nice work!

superb technique (one had no idea about) and again fascinating explanations for your art. You really are someone to follow carefully.

This one fascinates me, great technique. I also see pain in the image, but that is what art is about, to project your own stuff in it. At least good art like this one is.
