Need suggestions for what to do with background to make more interesting.

That wagon is excellent! For the background I can only tell you what I would do: I would probably put it in a grassy, wildflower-filled valley with towering, snow-capped, fog-enshrouded mountains in the distance. Maybe push the wagon to the left of the scene a little bit more, and a lake surrounded by trees on the right in the middleground. But that's just me! ;-) Great render!

I really love the wagon. As for the background, if I were you I would decide on a geographical location, then look for photos of the area to help me to get a picture of the terrain in my mind.

For the background I would put open, grassy rangeland in, maybe with some lovewstock as well. Also I feel it needs some cowboys gathering around the chuck wagon.

great job...I think the background should reflect what you want, this is pretty desolate, you usually find some vegitation unless you want this to be in a desert...
