Description

Well decided I would upload this scene anyways and will keep adding and doing Postwork to get it right so by the time I am done with it I will be able to say it is a whole new Picture...This was going to be my entry into the Cover Contest but I messed up and thought the Deadline was Midnight not NOON...My Fault...This ia HALF the size that I rendered at and I had to compress heavily so alot of details got washed out...Now the Renderosity Template would have covered the top and the sides with RENDEROSITY stenciled across the top..I even put the Template over the Jpeg version to see if it would fit two days before the final day and it fit like a glove...Dang my stupidness for thinking things wouldnt change... Bryce5,PSP,Clouds from my Cloud Package in the RMP(Tutorials for Bryce and Poser inside,I also show how to use for mist and how to make new ones inside of Bryce)Helmut Schaub's Castle,2d Eagles from BryceTech,Trees by me,Elk from freephotos.com,Liteluvrs&MarioG mountain Texture(Heavily Tweaked by me in the Texture Editor)

There's nothing like your touch when it comes to making landscapes Brian and this is certainly no exception. The detail, perspective and depth are just beautiful and it's better that we get to see this here then after the cover contest.

holy crap--this is freakin incredible. Ive never seen an outdoor scene like this done with any program, the forest and clouds and all the little details like the animals all add to the sense of scale. im truly sorry for you not getting to enter it in the contest, it would have been awesome to see this on the cover, but still congrats on an awesome image, you get my vote!

With the bald eagles and a castle, this looks like a scene from the Kingdom of Cascadia which runs from N. California to British Columbia. Brilliant work Brian. This would have made a worthy cover.

Thanks folks... Render times on an ... AMD Athlon 1500 with Geforce2 64MB and 512DDR and rendered at: 2560x2996@300 DPI 36 hours and 18 minutes....And I did Postwork of about an hour and a half...Then resized smaller to this size you see and converted to JPEG where I lost a good 20% detail to the conversion process...Thanks for the awesome comments folks they only push us to do better on the next one....
