K I know its a bit poor but the spray type background is a flame fractal... still cant find a relevant way to blend it into an image

This is a very delicate pretty spiral. Very nice. And you're right about flames being difficult. Maybe one of our wonderful flame experts will do a tutorial on post processing them, someday. :) (One can hope)
