Intriguing image! I really like how you've warped the path and the buildings; something about it just looks 'right', like that's the way it really is instead of it being a manipulated image. My only problem is with the disappearing man. Even though he's disappearing, he seems a bit too fuzzy to me. Perhaps you need a higher resolution image or something...I don't know. It's better than I could do :-)

Strong, much more to say than the average 'gothic' picture of funery architecture. To me - our perception is distorted, the observer is neither fixed nor independant of the view.
