Description

"May the stars guide him to me, May the moon light his way, May my blood bind him to me, May his love make him stay" Erm..(cough)... that was embarrassing, but I had to write *something* to explain this pic! It's my entry for this month's Poser challenge. V3 with a 2nd skin body texture from DAZ, head and hands from the free 'Eygpt' texture in Freestuff, everything else postwork. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful art and sentiment. The image and words remind me of a passage in Neil Gaiman's "Stardust." He describes an unbreakable chain made of "Cat's breath and fish-scales and moonlight on a millpond, melted and smithed and forged by the dwarfs." Thanks.

Your 'something' peom is so wonderful that I wish I would write it :)... I alwasy thought that the most durable 'glue' is the love -- but I nevery could to put it into writing with so beautifully simple words as you did -- 'May his love make him stay".

Thanks all for the greatly appreciated comments - but I have a question - do you see this model as being clothed or naked? It's just something someone said, and I'd be interested to know what other people think - is she dressed, or is she bare? I know what I think, but perhaps my preconceptions don't allow me to see her the other way - please tell me (here or in IM, I'm not fishing for comments) how YOU see her. I'll be eternally grateful, and might just learn something!

Whether this figure is naked or clothed, the overall image is very well done. :D

I don't see it as naked or clothed, really. It strikes me as quite ambiguous, and I think that works really well, actually. Is she tattooed/bodypainted or wearing a close-fitting garment? I like the ambiguity. If I HAD to say, I suppose I'd say that she's clothed, based on the sleeves and neckpiece area. Still, I think it's a really interesting "accident" of perception. Ambiguity is good. :-)
