I agree with Tintifax - very good - but needs more contrast to bring out the depth.

Did HAL killed everyone there too ? Yeah, Space Odyssey 2001 was a great film , I wonder if Stanley Kubrick have imagined that in 2003 computers "intelligence" will be similar to level from 1968, but instead everyone will communicate through internet and 3D rendering will be a new art - I doubt :-))) It was a digression caused by this great model from 2003 :-)) Nice nebulae! (but you should consider to use less ambient light to get more contrasted shadows)
