Hi! I am Janessa. Take a look around my gallery! I hope you enjoy!
I came to Renderosity because of my sister. I saw her make beautiful pictures and, of course, I wanted to make them too. Here I am! Check out her gallery under the name Cylithera.BIOAn update: Recently, my husband and I have moved to Austin, Texas. I no longer work for Customer Service, just having received a promotion to full-time Game Designer for a pretty popular gaming company, specializing in MMOs. We now have a great, beautiful townhome, a cat (Anubis) and a puppy (Oden)!
On the side, I tend to write and do a little dabbling in Poser. I just started so be gentle ;) Drop me a line anytime! I hope to make some friends here and become immersed in the community that is Renderosity.
Take a look at my writing as well! Mind you, it's pretty vacant right now, and is full of old stories. I definitely have to update it with new exciting stories! Most recent is Path Less Traveled.. so start with that one first!

It's a neat idea, but it could use some work...I'm not quite sure what it is, but it looks like you pasted them onto a background b/c there's a line surrounding them, but then I noticed that it wasn't just around the edges. Whatever it is, it's very distracting. And just about every line has a jaggedness to it, which is also distracting. It looks almost like this picture wasn't anit-aliased. If you have PSP or Photoshop, I'd suggest slightly blurring every single jagged line, or slightly blurring the whole image. I hate doing this, but I see potential in this image and I'd much like to see a better version. (I'm really sorry. I'm honestly really just trying to help.) The hair could use some work as well, but it doens't really look that bad...just stringy. The contrast between the two is really cool and the pose is good. I think the biggest problem with this picture are the jagged lines...they're a MAJOR distraction. (Again...I'm really just trying to help. I hope I haven't offended you. :-D Please don't hate me. lol)

I love the contrast between the two, I don't mind stringy hair either lol. But yes the jaggedy edges, I did that alot without even realizing it ;) If you have the original pz2 file, just reload it and rerender with anti alias checked. If not then the thing I do when I forget is go into paint shop and run the brush around the edges with the setting on soften, it works wonders. Great image though I really do like it.

Beautiful and magical!!!

I think the white line around it is an effect added in postwork and is probably intentionnal and I think it would look good too if it were a little softer. I personnally like the hair the way it is, stringy a little, makes it look messy and wild a bit and I like that... Love the light.

Nice Work!
