Sorry, this is not excellent ! We can see the end of terrain and surface map is a bit poor... Coloring/atmo/composition are good, but this pic can be improved !

12th allready ? You're going fast to that 400th LOL ! Seriously ... You should spend more time on the textures. I found out that it makes a lot of difference. Use multiple layers and children textures and don't be afraid to try out overlays too ! You'll be surprised ! PS. this is ment as help !!!

Very good terrain. Agree with Hill regarding the end of terrain. You should lower the camera point of view to avoid this. And as say ACHPostma, try to use more layers, because this terrain is very cool. You can do something fine with it.

Needs more work on the textures, there is very little variation in the whole pic. The POV is not the best either, its too high (showing the edge of the landscape) and a big chunk of the foreground is in shadow, leaving the picture without any real focal point. Don't take my comments to heart, a slight change of camera position will make a tremendous difference and some extra textures will bring the scene to life. These are things we have all done and by the time you are up to 30 renders things should be falling into place.

You're doing well, and the texture is great. It looks like the Terrageners are trying to be a little more helpful this time...the softness of the clouds are really nice....good work!

I like the POV, despite the edge of the landscape...a slight tweak of the camera should correct this..Good sky...Keep working on the surfaces...Your doing a really good job at learning the app..

I agree with pushinfaders. There were many good suggestions, but in the end, it's all a matter of taste, and the artist rules. :) This has a very nice terrain.
