Description

a result of playing around in Photoshop. working on realism, but it can be tough. i still think it looks too flat... eh, well... comment away.

the center was graduated towards yellow, and the interface was a vertical rectangle..I think the 'Hal 9000' might have been a logo on it..but then it's been 2 years since I saw it last..;) good start

Hrmm, perhaps a little warping can give you more of a bulge that could simulate 3D, dunno. I like what your trying to do though gj. And good eye for those reflections.

find this stylish more than realistic. Kinda of evolved design with great lightening.

Nice work, funny to think that HAL was just a play on IBM just a letter further down the alphabet on each intial.

RG19 - Asimov has always said it is a coincidence - and he actually started writing the script BEFORE IBM existed. This is an excellent design but I think it coulds benefit from some kind of rim or edging where the light meets the metal.
